Granby Winter Activities

Winter in the majestic Rockies always makes people think of skiing...and we have that. But skiing is just one way to enjoy natures splendor around Granby. The key word is SNOW, and there is plenty of it here.

Skiing is of course the main activity, and we have two fantastic resorts to choose from. As well as miles of cross-country ski trails.

You can ski at family friendly and affordable SolVista right across the street. Or you can enjoy world-class skiing at Winter Park resort just a short drive up the valley. After a hard day of skiing, why don't you go 5 minutes down the road to Hot Sulphur Springs and let mother nature steam your aches away...mmmmm.

But skiing certainly isn't the only thing to do.

How about a snow shoeing trip, or a snowmobiling excursion up to the continental divide....truly unforgettable. You could even do some ice fishing on Lake Granby. Then finish your day with a horse drawn sleigh ride and enjoy a hearty meal with your family. You won't even miss your DVD player.
